Based on the Governor’s latest mandate EVERY family will receive TWO tickets for Tuesdays concert.
The Minerva High School Band will be hosting it’s Winter Concert in the MHS Auditeria on Tuesday, March 9th at 7pm. Tickets will be going home with students (one per family or two for seniors so we do not exceed the 90 person capacity limit). The concert will also be streaming on Facebook.
Concert dress will be “semi-formal” similar to choir concerts. We will not be using the uniforms for this concert.
If they haven’t done so already, band members need to vote for the 2020 band awards. They will need to be logged into their school e-mail address and vote using the following link: https://forms.gle/5uwWqQnfP3uud8U46
Voting will be closed on Monday.
The marching band will be hosting their 2020 Glowshow the night of Saturday, October 24th at 8pm in the MHS Stadium. Cost of admission is $5 to benefit the band program.
Theme shirts for the 2020 Heavy Metal show are now available on-line! We are leaving the window to order open until next Friday, Sept 25 so get your orders in!
**Make sure you select “local pickup” and shirts will be delivered during practice!
Other options such as sweatshirts and hoodies are also available for an additional cost.
Thursday night take home instruments
5:30pm – Meet on the high school practice field with instruments. Seniors in full uniform, everyone else red polo and black pants.
6:25pm – Seniors meet to line up with parents, rest of band sit in stands to watch
6:30pm – Seniors walk with parents
6:45 – Line up for pre-game
After performance seniors turn in uniforms
Ticket vouchers started going home today. Information about them from the athletic department is listed below.
VOUCHERS CAN NOT BE REPRINTED. So put them in a safe place as soon as your son or daughter brings them home.
Good news! They are planning on doing senior night at the first home game just to make sure that they get to do it no matter what. Parents will meet by the auxillary gym entrance to the stadium at 5:30pm. Pictures will be available from Dunlap Photography.

As mandated by the OHSAA, the band will only be performing at home games. These are the dates we know as of now, more will be posted as the playoff, etc, schedule is released.

Band members will be meeting on the practice field next to the stadium at 6:15pm and should come dressed in full uniform*. We are not permitted to use the bandroom to dress as in years past.
*For at least the first game the uniform will be the red polo and black pants.
