There’s a mandatory meeting for all marching band members and parents at 7pm on July 15th in the high school band room.
We will be having a short practice Tuesday, June 11 from 5:30-6:15pm to practice for the Homecoming Parade. We will meet at 5:30pm June 12 at MHS for the parade. Parade kicks off at 6:00pm. Dress is our red polo shirt and black shorts. Incoming freshmen are not required to attend.
A reminder since we got our new uniforms last fall, we are selling the old uniforms for $50 a piece. Time is running out and any remaining uniforms are going to be sold to a used uniform company soon. Contact Mr. Maxey if interested!
Band Fees for the upcoming 2019-2020 season will be as follows:
First Year Marching Band Members – $260
Upperclassmen Marching Band – $200
Concert Band Only – $50
Order forms are going home today with jazz band members for our jazz dinner dance on Thurs, May 16. The meal will be a stuffed chicken breast dinner catered by Classic 57. A vegetarian option is available. Cost is $15 or $10 for jazz band members. See a band member to place your order. Checks should be made payable to “Minerva Band Boosters”
Note: purchasing a meal is not required to attend the concert. Free seating is available

Students interested in trying out for the 2019 Minerva High School Drum-line should meet at the Minerva High School Band Room at 10am on May 18 with their tryout music prepared and a pair of drumsticks. Tryout packets can be picked up in the high school or middle school band rooms or downloaded from the link below.
