This Saturday, Sept 7, 7pm at Lake High School

General Admission and Reserve tickets to the show are $7.00 per ticket.  Senior Citizen and Non Reserve Student Tickets are $5.00 per ticket.  Due to the size of the bands coming as well as the close proximity of our show to the participating communities, we are anticipating a sold out show.  Therefore, we are encouraging those planning on attending to purchase Pre-sale Reserved Tickets.  

Pre-sale Reserve tickets are now available online.  To purchase Pre-sale Reserved Tickets go to http://www.lakelocal.org/BandShowInfo.aspx and click on the link to purchase tickets.  This would be an excellent way for groups of family and friends from the same school to sit together. 

Handicap Seating, General Admission Seating, as well as Standing Room Only tickets are also available for our show and can be purchased at the gate the night of the show.  Handicap seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.  Please be advised that in the event of inclement weather that would cancel our show, there will be no refunds for Pre-Sale Reserved tickets purchased online.

UPDATE: “While all of our presale reserved tickets are all sold out, we still have presale general admission tickets available through our web site www.lakelocal.org/bandshowinfo.aspx There will also be two more sections of general admission seats being sold at the gate on either side of the presale sections the night of the event.”

Tuesday (8/27) – Fair Show – Meet @ 6pm (Full Uniform)
Thursday (8/29) – Dress Rehearsal – Meet 4:30-5:30pm
Friday (8/30) – Away Game – Meet @ 5pm (Full Uniform)

Marching Band “Dress Rehearsal” practices will take place this season on Thursday nights from 4:30-5:30pm. This will begin NEXT week on Thurs, Aug 29. There is no practice tonight (8/22)

There will be no practice on Monday August 19 due to the teacher work day.

Students be sure to bring tennis shoes or sneakers with you to the first day of school Tuesday as we will be going to the field to practice during band periods.

Also Tuesday we will be meeting at 5:15pm for the fair show practice. Please wear your theme shirts!

Practice has been rescheduled for 11am tomorrow. Lunch will be provided and pictures will begin at 1pm rain or shine

SUNDAY- Color by grade!! Dress with the color of your grade ~~ seniors-grey ,juniors-white, sophomores- black and freshman- red

MONDAY- American day! It may not be the Fourth of July but no reason not to celebrate like it is with red,white and blue!

TUESDAY – Tourist Tuesday! Bring on the Hawaiian shirts and fanny pack! Don’t forget sunscreen!

WEDNESDAY- Meme/Vine/TikTok day- Become your favorite meme or preform your favorite Vine/TikTok for all your friends!

THURSDAY- Twin day! Partner up with your friends or even your section to become one!

There’s a mandatory meeting for all marching band members and parents at 7pm on July 15th in the high school band room.

We will be having a short practice Tuesday, June 11 from 5:30-6:15pm to practice for the Homecoming Parade. We will meet at 5:30pm June 12 at MHS for the parade. Parade kicks off at 6:00pm. Dress is our red polo shirt and black shorts. Incoming freshmen are not required to attend.

A reminder since we got our new uniforms last fall, we are selling the old uniforms for $50 a piece. Time is running out and any remaining uniforms are going to be sold to a used uniform company soon. Contact Mr. Maxey if interested!

Band Fees for the upcoming 2019-2020 season will be as follows:

First Year Marching Band Members – $260
Upperclassmen Marching Band – $200
Concert Band Only – $50
