Monday
The Pride Of Minerva has been invited to perform at the Minerva Local Schools Teacher Convocation Day. Students should be ready at 7:30am in the band room on Monday in full uniform. The performance should be done by 8am.

Tuesday CANCELLED
There is no morning practice this day. The band will be meeting at 5pm in the band room that evening to leave to practice for the fair show. Students should wear their theme shirts. We hope to return around 7:15pm.

Wednesday
First day of school. Band students should eat first thing 5th period then report to the band room for practice the remainder of 5th and 6th periods. Students can bring tennis shoes and a change of clothes if desired and can store these items in the band room.

Thursday
Evening “Dress Rehearsal” Practice – 4:30-5:30pm 4:00-5:00pm

Friday
First Game – Away – Practice @ 4:45pm

The marching band has added an additional band show to their schedule. The Edison Band Show will take place the afternoon of Saturday, September 16th. A more detailed itinerary will be released closer to the date.

Band pictures will take place Monday, August 14th during our morning practice. Students should come prepared to change into their full uniform right away at 8am. All students will need a picture form regardless of whether or not they’re ordering pictures.

Following full band pictures Majorettes would meet at Dunlap Photography at 11 and Color Guard at 11:30 for section pictures.

*Senior poster pictures will take place this Friday, August 11th at 7pm at Dunlap Photography.

There was a misprint in the marching band handbook. Remaining summer practices will take place Monday through Thursday, 8am to Noon.

Reminder there will be a mandatory meeting for all marching band members and their parents this Thursday, July 6th, 7pm in the MHS band room.

Students either catch the bus at MMS at 12:45pm or meet at the cemetery at 1:10pm.

Monday
Marching Band meeting at MHS at 9am for Parade and East Lawn Cemetery.
Dress is red polos, black shorts and sneakers.

Community Band meeting at Moultrie at 1:30pm
