Jazz Band at Minerva High School begins second semester each school year. This band performs at weekend home Varsity Basketball Games and various concerts throughout the year including the Brick Street Jazz Festival held on Market St in downtown Minerva.

Uniform
The uniform for the Minerva High School Jazz Band is black dress pants and a black dress shirt. Black shoes are also required. Red ties will sometimes be provided to wear for some performances. *All basketball games are casual dress

Basketball Game Procedure
Arrival time for all Varsity Basketball games is 6:15pm. The Jazz Band will perform for Pre-Game and Half-Time. After half-time the expectation is that students can either attend the rest of the game or go home. Students are not permitted to loiter in the band room, auditeria or any other part of the building and will not be chaperoned.
