Summer Homecoming Parade

Practice for the Marching Band’s Summer Homecoming Parade will take place at MHS from 5:30-6:30pm on June 18th and 19th. The parade will take place on Wednesday, June 20th at 6:00pm. Band members should meet at MHS on that day at 5:30pm dressed in their red band polo and black shorts.

MHS Band presents “Movie Magic” (4/19)

The High School Spring Band concert entitled “Movie Magic” will feature the Minerva 8th Grade Band. Band members should arrive at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7:00pm. All high school and 8th grade band members will be wearing matching concert t-shirts and nice jeans for the concert. $5 shirt payment is due to Mr. Maxey as soon as possible.

MMS Spring Concert (4/30)

The Spring Band Concert at Minerva Middle School will feature our Minerva 5th Grade Band. All students should arrive at 6:45pm and the performance will begin at 7:00pm.

*5th grade band members will be wearing a 5th grade band t-shirt and “nice” jeans. Please turn in $8 shirt payment to a band director as soon as possible.

2013 Disney Trip Announced

The MHS Marching & Symphonic Bands have announced they will be traveling to Orlando, Florida during spring break 2013 to perform at Walt Disney World.Total projected cost per student is $670.

Fundraising for the trip began last month with the Juniors and Sophomores making and selling homemade pizzas. Freshman and 8th graders will have the same opportunity in February. Participating band members will receive 50% profit from each pizza sold!
