Mr. Derrick Maxey, Director Of Bands
Derrick Maxey received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from The Ohio State University and Master’s in Music Education from Vandercook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Maxey is also an active trombonist in the Akron-Canton area, performing in such groups as the Alliance Symphony Orchestra, The Kent-State Stark Band and The Brass Band of the Western Reserve. He is currently in his seventh year as Band Director in the Minerva Local School District.
