Support the band’s trip to Washington DC by purchasing one of Mrs. Burman’s delicious pizzas from a Freshman or Sophomore band member before Sunday, January 17th. Students will pick up and distribute the pizza orders from St. Gabriel’s Church basement Saturday, January 30th between 12pm-2pm.

1-3 item pizzas are $11 and 4+ item pizzas are $15

A new Wurlitzer upright piano was donated to the MHS band program by John Admonius. The piano will be used by the Symphonic and Jazz Bands as well as to accompany students as they are preparing for Solo and Ensemble.

Up until October 31, 2009, for every new subscription to
The News Leader the Minerva Band Boosters will receive $3.50, and $1.25 for each renewal. To help benefit the band this way, simply give your payment to a Minerva band member or fill out a subscription form appearing in The News Leader. For further questions, call Lisa Ray at 330-868-5629.

Saturday, September 19th, Loudon Motors is hosting a band car wash from 10am-4. Students can sign up to work a 2-hour shift. Money earned goes to the general D.C. fund and will bring down the cost of the final D.C. payment(s). Spread the word, we need lots of dirty cars that day!
